Indicator Description

The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo 一目均衡表 indicator is a professional-grade implementation of Goichi Hosoda’s complete analytical framework. Built on Pine Script V6, it delivers the five classical Ichimoku lines with an adaptive length engine that dynamically adjusts to market conditions, a rigorous composite signal system with eight independent filters, and a full implementation of Hosoda’s three theories — Wave Theory (波動論), Price Theory (値幅観測論), and Time Theory (時間論) — culminating in Time × Price Confluence detection (重なり Kasanari), the highest-confidence setup in the Ichimoku methodology. With 168 configurable inputs, 22 independent alerts, and a real-time consensus panel, this indicator serves both classical Ichimoku practitioners and modern quantitative traders.

Complete list of features included in this indicator:

  • Five Ichimoku Lines: Tenkan-Sen, Kijun-Sen, Chikou Span, Senkou Span A & B with full color customization, Smart Price Labels (spread, distance, directional arrows), and a Reactivity Divider for fine-tuning line sensitivity.
  • Adaptive Length Engine: Each line independently adjusts its lookback period based on three real-time filters (Volume, ATR, Chikou Trend). Five presets available — Classic (9/26/52/26), 5D, Crypto, Slow, and Custom adaptive — with a Preset → Panel Only hybrid mode.
  • Kumo Cloud: Solid and Gradient fill styles (RSI-driven intensity), Kumo Twist detection, variable thickness visualization, and projected cloud for forward-looking structural bias.
  • Composite Signal System (▲▼): Three-stage architecture — Composite Filter (8 independent conditions with AND logic), Consolidation Gate (Flat Market Filter), and Regime Flip tracking with duration counter. Diagnostic details visible in the panel.
  • Support & Resistance Zones: Automatically created at each signal event. Full lifecycle management — creation, touch, retest, break, and flip (S↔R). ATR-based pruning, age-based eviction, and configurable zone styles (Line or Zone with median).
  • TK-Range Highlight: Detects consolidation phases inside the Tenkan/Kijun band. Three exit types (bullish breakout, bearish breakdown, convergence), median line, merge logic for adjacent zones, and quality assessment via tooltips.
  • Wave Theory (波動論): Six Hosoda wave patterns — I, V, N, P, Y, W — with automatic detection, priority-based classification, configurable display, and directional coloring.
  • Price Theory (値幅観測論): Four base targets (V, N, E, NT) plus extended projections (2E, 3E) calculated from N-wave geometry. Completed and Developing target modes with reach validation (✓ Reached / ⋯ Pending).
  • Time Theory — Kihon Sūchi (基本数値): Twelve universal cycle numbers (9 through 257) projected from nine anchor modes. Multi-anchor tracking with confluence detection (gold highlight when cycles converge). Past validation against confirmed swing points.
  • Time Theory — Taito Sūchi (対等数値): Measures swing durations and projects time symmetry forward. Configurable swing pairs, harmonic multiples (up to 9×), bracket visualization, and past validation.
  • Time × Price Confluence (重なり Kasanari): Clusters independent time cycles and price targets into scored zones using weighted Omomi scoring. Forecast boxes projected into the future, Diamond ◆ real-time confirmation, Kumo Enhancement for triple confluence (Time × Price × Kumo), and Seigōsei anchor validation.
  • Swing Detection: Configurable pivot detection (length 2–50) with strict alternation, serving as the data foundation for Wave, Price, and Time theories.
  • Volume & Volatility Engine: Five volume oscillator types (OBV, TFS, Klinger, Cumulative, VZO) with independent per-line assignment. Dual ATR system (Fast/Slow) for volatility expansion detection.
  • Bar Color Modes: Six modes — Price vs TK/KJ, Price vs Kumo, Confluence Strength (transparency-based gradient showing 1–5 aligned conditions), Current Regime, Kumo Future Bias, and Disabled.
  • Consensus Panel: Five independent cross signals (TK Cross vs Kumo, Kijun Position, Chikou Confirm, Price vs Kumo, Kumo Twist) with Strong/Weak/Equilibrium/Neutral strength qualification. Strict unanimity consensus. Full and Lite (mobile) modes. Diagnostic details section showing filter status, missing conditions, regime duration, and active preset.
